سلنا ماری گومز ((به انگلیسی: Selena Marie Gomez)؛ زادهٔ ۲۲ ژوئیه ۱۹۹۲ در گراند پرایری، تگزاس، آمریکا) بازیگر و خواننده اهل آمریکا است. او بیشتر به خاطر بازی در نقش آلکس روسو در سریال کمدی «جادوگران سرزمین لرزان» از شبکه دیزنی به شهرت رسیده‌است. وی بازیگری را با نقش آفرینی در فیلم‌های تلویزیونی شروع کرد. جدیدترین آلبوم وی a year without rain نام دارد.

نام مادر وی مندی تیف بوده و اصلا ایتالیایی تبار است. مادر گومز دارای سابقه بازیگری نیز بوده پدر وی، ریکاردو گومز، اصلیت مکزیکی دارد.پدر و مادر سلینا وقتی که وی ۵ ساله بوده از هم جدا شدند. مادر وی دوباره در سال ۲۰۰۶ ازدواج کرد.سلنا دیپلم دبیرستان خود را در می 2010 از طریق تحصیل در منزل دریافت کرد.او مسیحی کاتولیک است و در سن 12 سالگی حلقه ی خلوص مسیحیان(Purity ring) را بدست کرد ولی در سال 2010 آن را دراورد.سلنا پنج سگ نجات یافته دارد و خود را " عاشق حیوانات بزرگ " میداند.

وی شغل بازیگری خود را در سن ۷ سالگی با بازی در فیلم بارنی و دوستان اغاز کرده. سپس عهده دار نقش مکملی در فیلم بازی تمام شده شد. در سال ۲۰۰۴ استعداد وی مورد توجه عوامل شبکه والت دیزنی قرار گرفت وی ابتدا به عنوان بازیگر مهمان در چند فیلم از جمله هانامونتانا Hannah Montana و مجموعه زندگی زاک وکدی The Suite Life of Zack & Cody بازی کرد. سپس عهده دار نقش اصلی در مجموعه Wizards of Waverly Place شده حضور وی در مجموعه Disney Channel movie در سال ۲۰۰۹ سبب شد تا این مجموعه به بیش از۱۱٫۴ میلیون بیننده در اولین قسمت خودش دست یابد. از دیگر کارهای وی، بازی در نقش اول another cinderella story و بازی در نقش اول فیلم princess protection که نقش اول را با demi lovato با هم بازی میکردند. وی به تازگی فیلمی بازی کرده به نام Ramona and Beezus که Joey King در آن نقش Ramona و سلنا نقش خواهر بزرگترش Beezus را بازی میکند. این فیلم سینمایی برگرفته از رمان های متعدد Ramona & Beezus ساخته شده است که به تازگی نیز به روی پرده رفته است. monte carlo فیلم دیگری است که در دست ساخت است ودر تابستان 2011 به روی پرده خواهد رفت

فعالیت گروهی

سلینا گومز عضو گروه پاپ نوجوانان Selena Gomez & the Scene است.اعضای گروه شامل سلنا گومز-خواننده-اتان رابرتز(Ethan Roberts)-گیتار- جوی کلمنت (Joey Clement) -گیتار برقی- گرگ گارمن (Greg Garman)-طبل-ودن فارست (Dane Forrest)-کیبورد- می باشد. این گروه تا به حال 2 آلبوم استودیویی به نام های Kiss And Tell و A Year Without Rain منتشر کرده است.آلبوم Kiss And Tell در 29 سپتامبر 2009 از طریق کمپانی ضبط Hollywood Records منتشر شد که در 5 مارس 2010 موفق به گواهینامه گلد از طرف انجمن صنفی ضبط موسیقی آمریکا(RIAA) شد.تک آهنگ "Naturally" آلبوم نیز در 15 جولای همان سال نشان پلاتینیوم (آرآی ای ای )رااز آن خود کرد.این گروه دومین آلبوم خود(A Year Without Rain)را در 17 سپتامبر 2010 منتشر کرد که در همان آغاز با 66000 نسخه فروش چهارمین آلبوم پرفروش در لیست بیلبورد 200 (Billboard 200 ) آمریکا شد.سومین آلبوم باند با نام "Otherside" در 28 جون 2011 منتشر خواهد شد
