Sophie Dee (2013)Sophie Dee was born in Carmarthen, South Wales, living with a father, stepmother and brother.[2] She initially attended school in Wales, moved to England for a while, but later moved back to Wales to finish secondary school.[3] After leaving school she had various jobs, such as working in cafes and selling products door-to-door. She later became a lapdancer and stripper in Birmingham, and was eventually offered a topless modelling job in the UK newspaper The Daily Sport.[2] She worked as a Page Three girl for about a year and a half.[3]
In January 2005, Dee moved to California to start her adult film career,[2] and has starred in over 450 movies as of 2008.[1] She chose her stage name because, "A friend told me I looked like Sophie Dahl. So, that's how I picked my name. I just added the 'Dee.'"[4]
Apart from her pornographic career Dee also starred in two independent horror films, Theater of Derange and Unmimely Demise.[5] In 2011 she launched a mainstream film review site, ToplessMovieReviews.com.[6]
She has had breast enlargement surgery which took her from a C-cup to a DD-cup,[3] giving her measurements in early 2010 as 34DD-26-38.[4] Dee identifies as bisexual.[4] In March 2009, she subsequently augmented them to 36F (equivalent to 36DDD).[1]
As of at least 2010, she is married to fellow pornographic actor and agent Lee Bangs.[3]
